ETS advises companies from Europe, North America and the
Asia-Pacific on their entry in to all regional markets. Whether this be through the
provision of detailed synopsis reports, advising on commercial and legal obligations or
assistance in selecting a suitable business partner.
AAS™ has been developed to assist non-Australian
Manufacturers to meet the market entry requirements of Australia, under the
revised regime
imposed by the Telecommunication Act of 1997 and Radiocommunications Act of 1992.
This service is provided as an additional function of the ETS Asia-Pacific Office which acts as the legal
entity (or Importer) of communications equipment into Australia, providing
manufacturers with the flexibility they require for product distribution channels.
ETS can now also act as an agent under the ACA regime for Australian Manufacturers and
Importers - contact us today to find out
more.
Practical assistance is available to manufacturers seeking
guidance or help in the development of the hardware, firmware or software elements of
their telecommunications systems. Our staff have recently reviewed client's equipment and
systems for Y2K compliance. ETS is also able to undertake the CAD PCB layout tasks
on behalf of a client, together with the selection of a suitable sub-contract manufacturer
should this also be required.
Practical assistance is available to all
Radio and Telecommunications Sector organisations, whether a start-up or
multi-national, seeking guidance or help to implement ISO 9000 Quality
Systems.
ETS has also assisted manufacturers to meet the regulatory QA requirements imposed by
non-European Union countries such as the Czech Republic and Russian
Federation.
Offering an informed and independent review of a technical
or compliance related problem. ETS is able to provide English translations of a country's
standards, although our clients usually request a précis of the requirements within a
synopsis report as this also includes our practical experiences.
ETS can assist in preparing your standards strategy and provide an overview
of key standards / technology areas. We can also provide experts to attend
meetings on your behalf or alternatively utilize our Full Member status of ETSI.
ETS is able to provide translations of a country's
standards, technical specifications, legislation, contracts, company or product literature
into English or up to 40 different languages.
ETS has produced a number of technology
and regulatory related training programmes available to industry, in
addition to the usual external conferences and seminars that its staff are
invited to speak.
The new online Training
Zone is open free to both
technical and non-technical staff who have registered with ETS and wish to
expand their knowledge of new Technologies or existing ones for that
matter.
